You can find more information on adopting an animal at the websites for the
Humane Society (541-479-5154) and the Josephine County Animal Shelter. Both
facilities also have Facebook pages.
The Daily Courier’s cameras are the largest network of webcams in Josephine County and all of Southern Oregon with live streaming video.

To answer the question below, the computer that ran the cat camera died. Unless that computer can be replaced, the cat camera won't return.

So what happened to the cat webcam??? And will it be coming back?

Is there a way to raise the new camera to see the whole yard like before? Thanks

I see that Manny has not been adopted yet and he has been there quite a while. Have you thought about sending him to another "no kill" shelter" Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah is the best!

Good afternoon from crazy California.I used to be one of the volunteer workers on your old building on rogue River Highway I believe that was.a bout 20 years ago. Sure glad you have a new new place for all those dogs and cats. I worked one facility down the way for about two hours and quit because they were killing animals. Could not believe what I saw. Puppies were coming in and they kill them right away. What a disgrace that was. I sure hope that place is not in operation any longer. Anyway just a note to let you know there's a chair by the camera in the dog kennel that is blocking the pitcher. Thank you long for doing such a good job. I sure miss grants Pass. I am very sorry I left. Every Saturday when I lived there I used to go to town with my collie dog. A lot of merchants were innovating me in their store they love seeing my dog. Take care!

Poor Honey. She lost her home again, due to a death. Pray that someone will come soon to give her a loving home! Thank you for all you do..............

Today we will be receiving 15 small dogs that were in a high kill facility in Bakersfield California. Our friends at Wings of Rescue asked for our help and we accepted! They will be arriving late this afternoon so keep checking in! Follow them on Facebook as well.

Hi Ginny, yes, it's sad when owners have passed and have left no instructions for the care of their beloved pets. We currently have 5 senior dogs who's owners passed. It's extremely important to think ahead to protect those left behind. The good news is they will stay with us until we find the perfect family for them. May not be home, but they will be loved! Thank you for watching our critter cam!

I pray that several will come and adopt the two pairs that most likely lost their owners. If I didn't have four rescues and lived a couple hundred miles to the south, I'd take them, but at 85, I have been fortune enough to have found homes for mine when I am gone. Wish others would think a head, also. Blessing to all of them and you, the care takers!

Sad to see some of the little ones are back from their try at a new home. At least the people didn't abandoned them on the streets........

I saw that Precious is back. I'm so sorry her new home didn't work out for her. More prayers for her and all the little ones.

MR GEORGE OWENS 12/26/2016 5:46:39 pm Happy new year to all your staff. I know they work very very hard. I was one of them 16 years ago which nobody would remember me. But I remembered all the hard times trying to get a better facility. I would like to urge anyone that loves dogs to leave something in your will to help these people in grants Pass. In California there are many volunteers and money coming from different directions. But it tall like grants pass is a very small community that has limited resources. Want to wish everyone a happy new year. I used to live in lower Road, leaving grants pass was one of the biggest mistakes in my life. Happy new year to all!!
