A Jackson County man accused of disciplining his 7-year-old nephew with a shock collar pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and was placed on three years of supervised probation. Court records show judgment in the case was entered Wednesday after the defendant, Michael Wayne Stringfellow, 37, of Trail pleaded guilty to the assault charge, a Class C felony, on Monday.
