North Valley to celebrate ‘push-in’ for new engine

Rural Metro Fire is celebrating the start of service of a new fire engine that will serve the North Valley area of Josephine County.

The company is holding a ceremonial “push-in,” a tradition in which firefighters push the apparatus into its assigned engine bay to signify it is ready for service. The celebration is this weekend.

Residents of the North Valley area are invited, Rural Metro said.
