Alleged school abuser arraigned with $500,000 bail, no-contact order

A Grants Pass School District teacher’s aide was arraigned Wednesday on six counts of first-degree sexual abuse involving four students dating to 2018.

Joseph Edward Deley, 64, of Grants Pass appeared in Josephine County Circuit Court by videoconference from the county jail, where he has been held since his arrest Tuesday.
