In what could have easily been a trap game for the Grants Pass High football team on Friday, the Caveman defense made sure there would be no late-game drama at Mel Ingram Field.

In fact, Grants Pass shut out South Eugene 31-0 to set up a showdown with Sheldon next week for second place in the Southwest Conference.
