Wandering through my garden this past week provided a good time to take note of what perennials need be divided and replanted before winter arrives.

Hostas and daylilies are the usual suspects as they grow aggressively and quickly overwhelm their space. But I also noticed that my potted calla lilies could use some more room as their rhizomes are suddenly bumping up against the edge of their containers.
