Courier Cam on the Rogue

The Courier Cam on the Rogue River is located near the Grants Pass Parkway, looking down at the river from the city’s water filtration plant across from Baker Park.

Please consider donating to our web camera project. Maintaining our webcams is costly due to the equipment, software and bandwidth used. But with more than 200,000 visits per year between our five cameras, we feel they are of great value to the community, promoting our beautiful region and, in the case of our two Humane Society webcams, a truly worthy cause. Our commitment to you is that we will use all of the money raised to fund, and if possible, improve our webcam offerings. Please note, donations to our web camera project are NOT tax deductible.
High-speed Internet provider Hunter Communications has made it possible to support the massive bandwidth requirements for the Daily Courier’s five cameras.

We're having difficulties reaching our River Cam, since we need to set up a time with the water filtration plant staff to go over and try to fix the problem. We'll try to get this camera back online as soon as possible.

It got to 100 degrees at 3:55pm today. There are quite a few folks having a good time in/on the water. Be Safe.

Was planning on attending the 50's celebration but the cameras are all showing heavy smoke so I'm staying home and staying alive.

It looks like the river is flooding. Will folks be sandbagging those homes soon,or is it not expected to get higher?

Hey Tim, from our spot at the water plant, the view downstream is blocked by a large tree. The view upstream would be of the Parkway Bridge. This view is between the two, a few feet downstream of Baker Park. The water plant was one of the few places along the river where we could get internet access.

I agree TommyG, I would love to see up river and Mount Baldy.

We're having technical problems with our camera. We are working on it. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

TommyG 1/8/2019 1:59:53 pm
I live right off M and the Parkway, but I would still love to see a slow left to right rotation camera...that would be great!!! Thanks for all the views.
