Courier Cam on the Rogue

The Courier Cam on the Rogue River is located near the Grants Pass Parkway, looking down at the river from the city’s water filtration plant across from Baker Park.

The Daily Courier’s five cameras are the largest network of webcams in Josephine County and all of Southern Oregon with live streaming video and it’s perfect for checking out rafters or birds, watching summer sunsets, seeing what the weather’s like in Grants Pass, or creating a beautiful window to the river in your home or office.

A partnership with high-speed Internet provider Hunter Communications has made it possible to support the massive bandwidth requirements for the Daily Courier’s five cameras.

What gives, it says the cams are free. However after downloading the latest player I still can't get the ( free) cams?

Love the new angle. My buddy Mike just bought a house on the river just downstream from the camera, now I can see what his family is enjoying. I live on the Central Coast of Calif. My Sister's house is also on the river just upstream from the camera. Nice...

How do I get them to pull up. They have always done it on a double click before. I just read below that you have to use a Flash Cam and I have now done just that because you have the Icon up above!!!

Web director 1/20/2017 10:23:09 am
Dennis, You need Flash Player to be able to view the cameras.

I would like the cam to look more down river and not so much across the river.

They should call it the raging rogue. the best view is in the winter when most of the leaves are off the trees.

The river has that wonderful steelhead green look. Won't be long now.

Very nice day with snow on the ground.

May the raging river will remove some of these trees, we can only hope.

The river is sure high this morning. Lots of debris floating by. Stay safe everyone.

MikeW 10/17/2016 10:58:04 am
I'm surprised nobody has cut that tree down, it looks like an invasive spieces.

Tammie Bellon 10/16/2016 3:25:09 pm
Since no one will trim the tree, can the camera be moved so we can actually see the river?

Lindy 7/30/2016 11:16:28 am
How do you get to view the cameras I click on the pictures, with nothing happening?
