  Florence "Flo" Calderone Koehly Blake departed Earth peacefully at home on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the age of 87. Flo retired from a career in Civil Service then pursued her lifelong dream job as a journalist, writer, and editor. She also loved playing and writing music and loved to spread her faith through testifying in song.

  Flo is survived by brother Jerry Calderone, children Joleen Koehly and Alfred Koehly, and stepchildren T. Gregory Blake (and wife), Christina Blake, and her three children. Twice widowed, she was preceded in death by husbands Alfred Koehly Jr. and Terrance G. Blake. It was with Terrance G. Blake that she moved to Sams Valley, Oregon, in August of 1987.

  A memorial service honoring Florence Blake will be held at 12:15 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Table Rock Bible Church (on Table Rock Road, approximately 1 mile west of Modoc Road, Central Point OR, 97502). Church Pastor Dave Price will be presiding.

  The service will be followed by a potluck lunch, at the church, hosted by the congregation.

  Per Flo's wishes, her cremains will be scattered in front of the home she loved so dearly.
