  Audrey Leora McLean, 86, of Grants Pass died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Highland House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with Wes Winn, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

  McLean was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Forest Grove to Wilford and Bessie Miller.

  She grew up in Forest Grove, where she graduated from high school. In June 1942, she married Gyle H. McLean, who survives.

  They moved to Valsetz, where they lived for the first 10 years of their marriage. In 1953, they moved to Grants Pass.

  She was a foster parent for many years. In 1964, she began delivering the Daily Courier, which she did with her husband for 32 years.

  She enjoyed her family, cooking and baking pies.

  In addition to her husband, survivors include four children, David McLean and Nancy Townes, both of Grants Pass, Sandra Outlaw of Medford and Pam James of Tualatin; a brother, Stanley Miller of Portland; and 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
