  Dianne Jean Silva, 54, of Grants Pass died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at her home.

  A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Stephens Family Chapel, with James Downing, pastor of Jerome Prairie Bible Church, officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stephensfc.com.

  Silva was born July 15, 1955, in Hot Springs, S.D., to William and Hazel Bayliss. She graduated from Napa High School in Napa, Calif., in 1973. On Aug. 18, 1973, in Reno, she married John Silva, who survives. For a few years, she worked as a switchboard operator. In April 2006, she and her husband moved to Grants Pass from Napa.

  She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, games and spending time with her family.

  In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Cathy Pearson and Anne Heins, both of Grants Pass; a sister, Sharon K. Greer of Vacaville, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
