SOU puts senior housing plan on hold

Southern Oregon University’s plans for senior housing on its Ashland campus are on pause after one of the two potential partner companies stepped out of the process.

Medford-based Pacific Retirement Services, which was talking with SOU about the project, told the university this month that it was deciding not to pursue the potential opportunity so it could focus its resources elsewhere, according to SOU.
