Camping: Six campsites around lakes
Quick hit: Two fantastic lakes sit below a 5,580 foot mountain and feature two old shelters and a campground equipped with picnic tables. A trail loops around both lakes and climbs to the top of the mountain for an overlook. There are a variety of lush trees and wildflowers.
Directions: From I-5 near Roseburg, take exit 124 and follow Diamond Lake signs east on Highway 138. Follow Highway 138 for 49 miles. After crossing the North Umpqua River, turn right on Wilson Creek Road 4770. Follow gravel Wilson Creek Road 4770 nine miles to the trailhead and parking lot.
