Quick hit: There few places in the Oregon where Redwoods exist, and these two trails is one of them. The Oregon Redwood Trail is a little more scenic and more like a typical hike. The Oregon Redwood trail is a little more of a family-based hike with lots of information on the Redwoods and ecology.

Directions: Redwood Nature Loop: From Brookings, turn east on Constitution Way. Go right on County Road 784 (following the river) for roughly 10.5 miles. The trailhead is on the left side as the road, and appears just as the road switches from two-lane to one wide lane.
Oregon Redwood Trail: From Brookings, drive five miles south on U.S 101 and turn left on Winchuck Road. Drive two miles and then turn right on Peavine Ridge Road and drive four miles along muddy ground to the trailhead.
