General Description: This day-use park is located at the foot of the Table Rocks. It’s a large park with lot of amenities including a large picnic shelter with cooking utilities, water and electricity. There’s a boat ramp with toilet facilities. A $5 daily day-use fee applies.
Fish: Summer steelhead (August, September, October, November); winter steelhead (March, April, May), trout (year-round)
How to land'em: Although this area has a large salmon spawning bed, it’s mostly an area that attracts steelhead anglers with two distinct fishing holes. The lower hole is located below the Table Rock Road bridge, and can be reached from a parking area with a boat ramp. The fishing hole is located downstream from the boat ramp about 60 yards at a prominent riffle. It can be reached by following a trail on the edge of the river. The best area to fish is below the riffle, though the faster and slower water which both hole fish. This area is especially good for summer steelhead in autumn, attracted by the spawning salmon. Both bait and fly anglers fish here, using mostly imitation eggs. The upper hole is above the bridge and also can be accessed by a parking area. Anglers will want to wade across a channel river to an island, and fish the large ally between the island and south bank. This area can be good for summer and winter steelhead.

Directions: Follow Interstate 5 south to exit 33 toward Central Point (or north from Medford). Turn left and follow E Pine Street to Table Rock Road. Take a left on Table Rock Road and follow north until you reach signs for Tou Velle State Park. Click here for a map via Google Maps.
